Larissa did not want Wendy to keep this child. Still, it was important to keep Wendy’s body healthy regardless of what decision Wendy 

would make. 

Wendy looked at Larissa with mixed feelings. She lorced down the tears that were coming and thanked Larissa seriously. 

Aster reacted the complete opposite. 

He looked down disappointedly and secretly texted Kevan. “Mommy’s going to cook at home again.” 

He added a crying emoji 

Kevan sent back a series of hug emojis and comforted him. “When I get back I will cook the most delicious things ever for you. Just bear with it for a while.” 

Aster sent more crying emojis. “I thought we could go out and eat since Godma’s here today!” 

Kevan was interested immediately. “Your godma’s with you two today? Her boyfriend’s gone?” 

Kevan checked his work phone. He did not receive any news that Edmund had left Aldovia. 

“Her boyfriend’s not gone. He must be working I guess. Godma came to pick me up with Mommy,” Aster said. 

Kevan could not help but be on alert. Based on the information he got from Larissa, Wendy was always stuck to Edmund whenever she 

was not working. 

Edmund would not work at this time, and combined with what Larissa said about breaking them up- 

“Is there anything weird about your mommy?” Kevan asked Aster. 

Aster stared at Larissa for a while, and he replied. “Nope. Mommy’s very normal” 

Kevan was conlused. Larissa should not be so calm about Wendy. 

He could only instruct Aster to help him. ‘Keep a serious eye on your mommy. If there’s something weird about her, tell me immediately.” 

Larissa’s dinner this time took longer to cook because she needed to make chicken soup. 

Wendy strolled around their house. She had not stopped wowing in amazement for a very long time. Her lace had envy written all over it.

Larissa stared at her wordlessly and gave her a glass of hot milk. “Drink this first”

Her dangerous words scared Larissa so much. “Don’t joke about this,” Larissa warned her seriously. “Even if you want to keep the kid, you should think about it deeply and weigh the pros and cons before deciding.” 

Wendy pouted and mocked Larissa sheepishly. “You’re so boring!” 

Larissa Ignored Wendy’s comment. 

Wendy’s phone rang at this time. Normally, Wendy would hurriedly get out her phone. But today she surprisingly let out an annoyed expression, lay there, and did not move. 

Larissa raised her leg in preparation to kick Wendy automatically before she suddenly remembered that Wendy was pregnant. So, she quickly changed it to palling Wendy lightly instead. 

“Answer the phone.” 

Wendy rolled over and buried her lace into the sofa, She said dully, “He’s calling, I don’t wanna answer.”
