Chapter 852
Larissa read those documents until 2 am. When she went back to her room, she purposely went to the quest room as she wanted to
check on Wendy.
Carefully pushing open the door, Larissa saw darkness and no light. The person lying on the bed heard the noise though, and she
shouted, “Who is it?”
Larissa screamed in learful shock. After she calmed down, she put a hand to her wildly beating chest and turned on the ights.
Wendy sat on the bed, her hair completely messed up. She looked very energetic and not sleepy at all. They stared at each other for a while before Larissa asked, “Why aren’t you sleeping yet? It’s so late.”
“I should be asking you that.” Wendy looked annoyed. “It’s already so late, and you still come to other people’s rooms secretly. Who are you trying to scare?”
“I just finished reading the documents Lewis left for me.” Larissa said. “I just happened to pass by your room, so I decided to come take a
look.”
“Tsk!” Wendy rolled her eyes at Larissa. “Don’t think I don’t know where the study is! Just happened to pass by‘ my ass. Can you lie better
or something?”
“Fine. I’ll tell you the truth.” Larissa closed the door and walked to the bed. “Actually, I’m worried- She hesitated. “If you are so sad that you died here. this place that Kevan bought with a high price will not be able to be lived in, and it can’t be sold either.”
“Fuck off!” Wendy was so angry that she grabbed a pillow and threw it at Larissa.
Larissa caught the pillow quickly and reminded Wendy. “You’re pregnant, dummy! Don’t get mad! Don’t do anything crazy!”
Wendy stopped in the end out of concern for her own health, even though she was angry.
Larissa did not care to get too close to Wendy. She threw the pillow back onto the bed and sat at the loot of the bed. ‘You can’t sleep?” She asked Wendy. “What are you thinking about? Try and tell me.”
“I wasn’t thinking about anything.” Wendy refused to have a heart–lo–heart with Larissa. “I slept too much in the morning.”
“Bruh, as it I don’t know you?” Larissa snorted at her, “You’re basically a pig. No matter how much asleep within three seconds flat when your head hits the pillow”
h you s sleep in the morning, you can fall
Having been exposed by Larissa, Wendy glared at her timidly before whipping out her phone and throwing it at Larissa.
“See for yourself”
Larissa and Wendy almost had no secrets between them, and they knew each others‘ important passcodes. Larissa successfully unlocked Wendy’s phone and she asked. “See what?
Wendy looked at Lanssa like she was looking at an idiol. She bit out the words. “Whats. App!”
“Oh.” Larissa calmly opened the app.
Because she worked and lived in Westonia long–term, Wendy rarely contacted people with her WhatsApp as the Aldovians use other apps to communicate, Larissa knew most of the people on Wendy’s contact list.
