Marilyn, who had left earlier, had somehow come back and she was standing not far from them. 

She was staring at them in shock with wide, blue eyes, and her mouth was open. The bag that Larissa gifted her was on the llcor by Marilyn’s leet. The lipstick had rolled out of the bag. 

“S–Sorry! Marilyn quickly grabbed her things after recovering and turned around. “I didn’t see anything!” This time, she escaped faster. 

“She misunderstood, I think.” Larissa pulled away from Lewis and glared at him irritably. Lewis‘ previous position was too much. 

If Larissa was Marilyn, she would have overthought it loo. 

“Isn’t it good that she misunderstood?” Lewis was calm though. “It’s just as well because it should stop you from trying to matchmake me and her.” 

Larissa did not want to expose her relationship to Lewis, so it was hard to explain to Marilyn what she saw earlier, 

Larissa angrily packed her things and muttered, “I want to see just how long you will remain single!”

After Lewis‘ car vanished around the comer, a small red car parked in a corner drove into the crowded streets. 

Having managed to gel Lewis to spend money on her. Larissa picked a high–end restaurant that she herself could not usually bear to go to. However, the moment they sat down. Larissa’s phone began to vibrate madly in her bag.

Lewis advised her. “Answer it. What if someone has something urgent?”

Allen’s frantic voice came over at once. “Larissa, have you seen Freddy?” 

“Huh?” Larissa froze. “No? Why?” 

“Freddy’s missing! Allen was so worried that he was close to crying. “Our nanny had something happen at the last minute and was half an hour late to the kindergarten. And Freddy has gone missing!”
