"Clean up this bear. It looks so dirty," Cane said before he went to talk with the other warriors and check a few things.
Even though Cane didn’t like the person who had given the bear, hearing how ferocious this furball could be in the battlefield when it helped to defend the pack against their enemy and those warriors who had been infused with dark magic, the idea of having another layer of protection for his mate was enough to offset his annoyance.
It would be great if the bear could bite off the head of that mysterious man if he appeared again near his mate. It would help reduce his worries significantly.
On the other hand, Ethan scratched his nose. "I think he doesn’t really hate you, you should be glad with this news," he mumbled under his breath to the sleeping bear.
With that, he asked someone to scrub the bear and clean it up before feeding it, yet Lil Thing didn’t even wake up, until they gave it food and was ready to leave again.
Dean was assigned to assist this white fur ball, so it wouldn’t fall too behind them.
"Now, it is just us again," Dean said with a deep sigh and the bear whimpered, seemingly unsatisfied with the arrangement too.

"Luna, are you okay?" Joel asked when Iris came to his carriage to check on him. He felt bad because the Luna had to be bothered about his condition, despite Iris’ reassurance that she was fine and she did this without even having the slightest thought that he was a burden.
Still, the young warrior felt bad because he took so much time from someone of her status, but every time he tried to talk about it, Iris would shush him and look at him with a stern look, which didn’t suit her at all, telling him that she was going to be really mad if he kept talking about it.
Which essentially stopped Joel from apologizing.
"I am fine..." Iris said. She bit her lip because she felt uncomfortable sitting down. She was very sore. She kept telling herself not to do it often, but she couldn’t resist the temptation.
It was already seven days since they left for the Silver River pack and it would take another four days before they reached their destination at this speed.
Usually, it would only take nine days to reach Silver River pack from the Howling Wolf pack, but this time, because they carried a lot of things and there were at least three big carriages and a dozen more small carriages to carry their things, it slowed them down significantly.
At this point, Lil Thing managed to catch up to them and sometimes, the creature would run ahead of them until Dean had to lead it back to the entourage, before it could roam around and get lost.
It was a common sight to have the white fur ball around by now and some warriors had even grown to like this bear, as they slept around it and used its limbs as pillows when they were going to sleep. Thankfully, the silly bear didn’t mind it, as it slept well through the night to notice anything.
"You look uncomfortable, Luna," Celia chimed in, she stared at Iris with her innocent eyes. And Iris tried her hardest not to blush when she remembered the cause of her discomfort.
Meanwhile, Haco was fiddling with a few leaves that he found along their journey. The sorcerer looked fine now, save for the few moments where he forgot about Iris and even looked at her with a frown, as if she was a stranger when she came to this carriage.
"T- try to move your leg!" Iris stumbled on her words, desperately trying to get their attention off of her.
