She took a step closer and disappointed when Cane took a step back, still, she continued with her narration. "But, you are very different. You actually think about your people."

Laluna was shocked when she heard that, her body stiffed and Cane took the opportunity to step aside and walked past her, but not after he gave her one final blow to her self esteem.

"Don’t even think about it, the sight of you alone disgusted me." Cane gave her a menacing side eyes, which even made the baby cried, sensing Cane’s antipathy. "You can’t even hold a candle to my mate. You don’t even deserve to kiss her feet."
