The Alpha’s Little Rogue (Alessia) novel Chapter 135

Chapter 135

Raphael's POV The next morning, I'm back in the woods and on my way to my mate's pack. It's surreal when I think about it as that.

Henry is walking for me at the pack's front door just like the previous day. We head to the training grounds together and I immediately notice the drastic change from the crowd of yesterday.

Did I actually succeed in scaring them off? Damn. I thought they would last longer.

"The teenagers are at school," Henry supplies, probably making out the confused expression on my face. "Sadly, they will only be able to join us on the weekends."

I nod in understanding and walk to the middle of the room to begin another day of training * A few excruciatingly painful hours later, we call it a day and I watch as they limp and drag themselves to the pack house.

"Hey," I call out, grabbing his attention. He turns around and wipes his sweaty forehead with the back of his palm.

His brows knit in question as I get closer to him.

"So." I draw out, suddenly feeling like an idiot as I stand awkwardly in front of him.

I get an arched eyebrow and more confusion from him.

I force my lips to part as I push the next words out, "where does the teenager school at?" I hold in a curse once the words are out in the air. Someone should really think of inventing a time machine. It will be a money maker and I'll be their trusted user because I sure as hell say a lot of stupid shit I wish I could take back.

"It's just a few miles from here," he replies and my head snaps up in surprise. "Head north and ask around for directions if you get lost. You can't really miss it though." He turns on his heel and walks out of the room, leaving me gaping at his retreating figure like an idiot.

No questions? No suspicions? No chasing me out of their pack with a m a c h e t e ?

Am I supposed to be glad or worried that he didn't question why I n e e d e d that information? Not to mention that he handed the answer to me on a silver platter. Oh well. I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I make my way out of the training grounds and head north as Henry directed. Just as he said, it's hard to miss the blue and white painted school with the pack's name written boldly on it.
