The Alpha’s Little Rogue (Alessia) novel Chapter 146

Chapter 146

Daphne's POV I'm freaking out.

I just woke up with my head resting on Raphael's chest with his arm wrapped around me as he pulls me in.

Yesterday's memories hit me in full force. I can't believe I let him do what he did. In fact, I didn't just let him, I begged and whined for it like a harlot. Basically, pulled him onto my body and undressed him myself.

Raphael shifts on the couch beside me and his lower body presses into mine. As though just realizing that neither one of us had clothes on, my brain becomes hyper-focused on our nakedness. Or rather, his nakedness. Junior Raphael is making his presence known by poking me in the stomach.

I twist and turn in his hold, trying to look for a way out of his tight grip without having to wake him up.

I should have known that would be futile. As soon as I start twisting in his hold, Raphael stirs up from his sleep and tightens his hold.

"Where do you think that you're sneaking off to?" He questions, his voice husky and deep with sleep. My gaze lifts to his face where he's spotting a five o'clock shadow on his chin.

I don't answer his question because my thoughts have gone down a different road. Thoughts like what that five o'clock shadow will feel like between my legs assault my head Dear Lord, just one night with him and I've turned into this sex- starved person.

"I need to get ready for work," I reply and I try to ignore how breathless I sound.

"Must you?" He whines, burying his face into my shoulder, his scruff scratching my flesh lightly and causing a flutter in my stomach.

"Raphael," | breathe out, feeling my resolve weaken. I can't exactly find it within me to stand up and get ready for work when he's rubbing himself all over me.

"Fine," he grumbles but lets go of me and I push up from the couch before I can change my mind and snuggle deeper into the couch with him.

I walk into my room without looking back at the couch because I'm afraid that my willpower isn't all that strong.

Getting dressed quickly, I fly out of my room and walk out of my room to find Raphael pulling his clothes on.

"You can use my shower if you want," I offer while trying not to droll over his naked chest which he covers a second later with his t-shirt. Dang it!

"I'm going to shift once I get into the woods. It would be futile." He walks over to me and keeps walking until our toes are touching.

He lowers his head, his breath fanning my earlobe. "Although, if you had asked me to join you in the shower then my answer would have been much different."

"It's a good thing I didn't invite you in because I would be late for sure," I counter.

"It wouldn't take long to do what I have in mind," he replies smugly.

That didn't come out sounding the way he probably intended but I don't bother making the miscommunication known. It will just lengthen this conversation when we need to be getting our butts out of this house.

"Sorry I didn't offer you breakfast but I'm already running late," l apologize as we walk towards the front door.

"It's ok. Yesterday's dessert was very filling." His words drip with innuendo and I roll my eyes.

We walk out of the house and I lock up. Turning around, I ran into Raphael's chest because he was basically pressed against my back.

"Are you really ok with what happened?" He asks with an arch brow as he looks at me with barely concealed anxiousness.
