The Alphas Princess novel Chapter 37

Sables POV

"Where?!" Alpha asked alarmed coming awake from his sleep. I took note of his sunken in eyes and paler than usual skin tone. He was dead already so to be paler was shocking to me. "Sir we think we found the witch or at least her last location far beyond our borders where she might have taken the princess." Luke said helping Alpha up to his feet. "Perfect what do we do now?" He asked mustering up what little excitement he had in him. "That's where we aren't to sure what to do." Luke replied looking at me to continue. I looked to Ty who was limping beside his brother. "That's a strong witch Alpha I went after her and she hit me pretty hard with her magic" Ty said holding his side in discomfort. I nuzzled into him in an attempt to comfort him. He smiled as his pain eased a little. "Not strong enough to face me or the alpha female." Blake growled as only a day ago we put our beloved Luna in a deep constrictive sleep to keep her powers in check. I too felt his bitterness for leaving the Luna asleep when she wants to fight the most. "We will get my pup back!" Blake growled storming out of his room. We all followed him to the back door down stairs. He shifted into the fearsome three headed wolf we knew as Cerberus. Luke and Ty shifted as well chasing after him as I tried to catch up on foot. Lately since Isra's been gone my wolf hasn't so much as spoken to me. Shifting had become next to impossible at this point, even my mates were a bit concerned but we haven't had time to address it due to Taris disappearance.

Luna's POV

I stared at the dark open space before me glittered with stars and planets. Longing to touch one of the stars from behind my prison cell. I paced the caged area and cursed my mother for sentencing me here. I looked out at the earth as I began to wonder what my mate Cerberus was doing. What was all that talk about a pup, I wondered. My hand subconsciously slid down to my flat tummy. I felt a warmth there. I looked across my cell to a mirror that began to gleam a strange light as i approached it I saw no need for alarm. I merely saw my silver eyes staring back at me void of any emotion a stoic stone like face that concealed my pain. The image began to sway until I saw my mother over my shoulder. I looked away from the mirror and saw nothing but an empty space beside me. I turned back to the mirror and my reflection and saw her standing still with a look of sorrow etched into her face. "Why won't you speak!?" I growled out in frustration. "I have questions I know you can answer" I sneered back at the reflection of us. Her image began to sway until it vanished. "NOOOO!" I cried slamming my fist in the mirror as glass rained down from the frame. Tears bagan to roll down my face as I sunk to my knees, realizing that I'm alone and sad and afraid, accepting the punishment that she'd sentenced me to thousands of years in isolation. My soul trapped in this prison when she destroyed my physical form. My own mother

"How could she?"

Blake's POV

We were all sniffing around the border of the territory minus Sable who was rocking on her heels uncomfortable and unsure as of what to do. "Sable we're going to get them back. As your alpha I promise you that." I mind linked her as a look of surprise crossed her face. She smiled at me and responded with a mental replay of her and Isra playing with Tari. "I know you don't want to Alpha but I say we cross the boarder. So what we go into the city. We just need to get a stronger scent to follow the witch." Ty said shifting back to his human form. Sable helped him dress and handed more clothes to Luke as he shifted as well. My energy has been hell since Isra's been asleep. Shifting is almost a chore now. My mind thought back to my beautiful mate. In my dream she was as gorgeous as I remembered but her state of mind bothered me. She didn't remember our own daughter the whole reason I put her to sleep anyway. Before I could give more thought to my shifting or mate a silver light was swirling around us. Luke and Tyler growled and surrounded Sable in response. I watched as the light danced it's way to the middle of us and took form. "Selene" I mind linked them in shock. All three looked from the light to me and back to the light. They dropped to their knees bowing to the moon goddess. "Hello my pups." She smiled as she waved a hand over them. "Goddess?" Sable whispered out still in shock. "My beautiful Sable. You've done so well as a Friend to my daughter. Thank you child." Her voice was so low and soothing. For once Sable didn't show any signs of fear or anxiety and her mates looked surprised. "Cerberus I don't have long but whoever has your daughter is messing with her powers." She suddenly sounded frantic as she turned her attention to me. "Whatever happened to Nefertari is messing with Isra so much that when she was put to sleep she is now being forced to relive her punishment as Princess Luna. That's why she doesn't remember your daughter she didn't recognize the name Isra." For the first time I saw tears forming in her eyes. "Forced to relive her punishment? What do you mean?" I asked her as she lowered her head in shame. Suddenly my head began to hurt as small memories began to attack my mind of Luna rather than Isra

"Don't you remember Cerberus?"
