The Alphas Princess novel Chapter 39

"Please stop" I whimpered softly as I felt her fist connect to my tummy. I cried as she continued beating me as she has been for a while now. I keep praying my mommy and daddy rescue me but I can't even hear them anymore it's like we aren't connected the way we're supposed to be. I used what little energy I had left to bite at her wrist. She glared at me and kicked me, sending me flying across the room. She quickly crossed over to me and snatched me by my scruff and dragged me to the silver cage. She locked me in and walked back across the room tinkering with her potions and spell book. I moved around uncomfortably in the tight confined space.

"Quite squirming you brat!" The older lady barked to me as I continued rattling against the tight cage she had me in. I kept manipulating my age to see if my wolf form could break the cage. Clearly I'm not as strong as daddy or mommy. I let out a disappointing sigh as I think about how easily daddy could shift and the cage would burst and he'd be free. However the cage isn't my only issue. This wicked witch put a cursed collar on me that manipulated my powers. I can still change my age at the moment but it's so much harder now and I get so exhausted from doing it. I gave up and reverted to my normal pup body. "The more you fight your prison the more the collar drains your power and your mother suffers." I heard the wicked cackle come closer to me. I wanted to growl but she'd only laugh and anger me more. Unable to control myself I demanded "what'd you do to my mommy!?" She approached my small cage and lowered her face till it was near mine. "Your parents are both abominations that shouldn't exist in this era." Her green eyes were so cold and empty nothing like my mother's warm kind emerald green eyes. "I want my mommy." I started to whine loudly and the walls around us began to shake. The witch staggered back trying to regain her balance as the room shook uncontrollably. I let out a growl that scared the old hag. It sounded so much like daddy I felt tears dampen the fur under my eyes remembering how much I missed them. Suddenly I felt more rage build in me as I looked at the witch and her expression of fear.

The cage suddenly felt very hot as I began to notice the silver bars turning red as they heated up around me. Silver began to drip around my paws and the cage began melting until it was nothing more than a puddle at my paws. I saw strands of black fire raise from the ground and wrap around her holding her still as she squirmed and fought. I raised my gaze to the terrified witch held in place. I shifted into my teenaged human form and looked her square in her eyes her pale green eyes reflected my now red eyes ringed in black flames.

"You're fucking finished." I growled

Blake's POV

"Alpha please you can't keep doing this." I heard Luke plead from the other side of my bedroom door. I can't remember shifting and coming back home but here I was in bed feeling my energy drained and Cerberus is almost nonexistent in me at this point. I miss my beautiful mate and I miss my adorable innocent little pup. I let out a sigh "Go away I'm fine." "Bullshit Alpha come on!" Luke growled from the other side. Normally I'd go flying through the door to choke him out for disrespecting me but it's like I don't even care anymore. Without my family I feel useless. I haven't slept in a while because I fear seeing my beloved mate and us repeating the past. She deserves better. A sudden surge of power went through me and disrupted my thoughts of Isra. "You're fucking finished" I heard a female voice growl in my head. I closed my eyes and I saw her radiant red eyes filled with rage and fury as she focused on her prey. "Nefertari?" "Daddy?" We called simultaneously. She growled. "That witch will soon learn our pup is not one to mess with." I heard Cerberus growl from deep with in me. I opened my eyes and gasped.

"What is it sir?" Luke rushed in breaking down my door. Tyler and Sable followed behind him.

"I know where Nefertari is" I chuckled
