Chapter 185
Get Bo
Marie was stunned. She ran over on a whim, so there was no way she made an appointment. She just shook
her head. “No.”
The receptionist couldn’t help but sneer. She looked at Marie with disdain and said, “Sorry, miss. You can’t go
up without an appointment.”
Marie was not happy seeing the receptionist’s contemptuous eyes. “Call your CEO, and he’ll let me up,”
The receptionist only chuckled and said, “Miss, our CEO is very busy, and many women want to see him every
day. I would have been fired a long time ago if I kept calling him every time someone wants to meet him.”
Marie raised her eyebrows when she heard that. What does she mean? Did a lot of women want to see
Dennis every day? She was now unhappy, and she wanted to see Dennis right now.
With a faint smile, Marie said, “Miss, if you don’t make the call now, then you’ll be fired, soon.”
The receptionist sat in her seat while fixing her nails and didn’t even look at Marie. Marie then took out her
phone and dialed Cullen’s number. I’m at the main entrance of Whitney Group, and the receptionist won’t let
me in.”
After that, she hung up the phone, and the receptionist glanced at Marie disdainfully. What is she pretending
about? Does she think she can scare me with a phone call like that?
Marie just stood there and waited without moving, and not a minute later, the elevator opened, and Cullen
walked out quickly. As soon as the receptionist saw him, she immediately stood up and greeted him with a
smile. ‘Mr. Cullen!”
Cullen just brushed past her and walked up to Marie, asking, “Ms. Spence, why are you here?”
With a faint smile, Marie said, “I’m here to have a business talk with Mr. Whitney, but I’m a nobody here. The
receptionist doesn’t seem to recognize me and doesn’t even want to make a phone call.”
“What are you saying, Ms. Spence? The CEO is still in a meeting. I’ll take you up first,” Cullen said.
She then nodded and walked toward the elevator in her high heels
Seeing this, the receptionist immediately asked, “Mr. Cullen, who is this woman?”
Cullen just glared at her and said, “What woman? This is Ms. Spence from Maris Entertainment! She’s
Sasha’s boss! How ignorant!”
The receptionist’s face turned pale with fear after hearing that. Sasha was now a popular star in the
entertainment industry, and the boss behind her was also a well-known figure, but she didn’t know that this
young lady who looked like she was in her twenties was the big boss.
Cullen ignored her, followed Marie into the elevator, pressed the top floor button, and asked, “Ms. Spence, to
be honest, what are you doing here?”
Marie smiled. “I told you, right? For business.”
Cullen
allen was also confused, but he didn’t care and still tried to make her happy. He invited her into Dennis
office and said. “The CEO is still in the conference room for a meeting, so you can wait for him here”
Mane nodded and sat on the couch in Dennis office while waiting After that, Cullen hurriedly sneaked into the conference room Dennis had been in a bad mood these days and was now getting angry with
director
A while later, Cullen walked over to Dennis and whispered in his ear, “Mr. Whitney, Ms. Spence is here”
Dennis was stunned to hear that. “Who’s here?”
Cullen repeated again “Ms. Spence is here She’s waiting in your office!”
Dennis was a little confused. It was obvious that Marie didn’t want to reveal her relationship with him. What
is she trying to do by coming to Whitney Group so openly?
After listening to the reports from his staff, Dennis hurriedly ended the meeting and walked toward the office.
As he walked, he asked, “Did she come in through the main door?”
Cullen nodded. “Yes. I went down to lead her up.”
Dennis just frowned. “Did she say what she’s here for?”
Cullen nodded again. “Ms. Spence said she’s here for business.”
Dennis smiled slightly before pushing open the office door and walking in.
Marie was nestling on the couch in his reception area, holding a glass of water in her hand. When she saw
Dennis coming in, her eyes lit up. She then put down the cup and ran over, hugging Dennis’ neck before
asking. “Are you done with the meeting?”
Dennis nodded. “I’m done. Why are you here?”
Marie pouted. “You didn’t even look for me, so I came to you.”
Hearing that, Dennis frowned and looked at her. “Since when did I not look for you?”
“You did not!” With an aggrieved look on her face, she continued, “You haven’t called me in three days, and
you haven’t texted me in five!”
Dennis really wanted to laugh in his heart, but he and asked, “So? Are you here to coax me?”
Marie nodded. “Yeah, I’ll need to coax you since you’re ignoring me.”
Marie looked at him with a smile and a hint of grievance, almost counting the days he ignored her with her
fingers.
Dennis wrapped his arms around her thin waist and brought her forward, saying, “So, Ms. Spence, how are
you going to coax me?”
With a blush on her face, she grunted. Just… A normal coax…”
After that, Dennis wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned down to kiss her. Marie’s lips were very

soft, and her body was warm and seductive since she ran over on such a cold day and even drank some
warm water just now.
Through the crack of the door, Marie could still see the assistant and the secretary walking around outside. She blushed and pushed Dennis away, for fear that people outside would see them, but Dennis didn’t let go. Instead, he hugged her tighter.
Marie could only nestle in his arms obediently and let him do what he wanted until Cullen knocked on the door and said, “Mr. Whitney, Mr. Lindsey called and said he would will be coming later.”
Only then did Marie violently push Dennis away. Dennis glanced at her blushing face with a smile, cleared his throat, and shouted to the door, “Got it.”
Marie pouted and asked, “Is William a man or a woman?”
Dennis was stunned. He then pulled her over and asked, “So what if it’s a man? And what if it’s a woman?”
“A woman? If she’s a woman that I’ll-‘ However, she stopped abruptly and was too embarrassed to continue.
“You’ll what?” Dennis raised his eyebrows at her.
“I’ll chop you up!” She glared at him aggressively.
