Edward sighed and said, “Ms. Spence, stop it. Let’s avoid any unnecessary casualties…” 

Marie helped Edward up and comforted him, “Don’t worry, Edward. Luca knows what to do.” 

Edward lowered his head silently. Listening to the screams outside, he felt that Luca didn’t know what to do. 

Marie checked the wound on Edward’s head and said, “No broken skin, just a bruise. I’ll ask Luca to apply 

some medicine for you later. Edward, you’re old. Don’t fight them head-on. It’s no good.” 

Edward sighed and pointed to the safety deposit box, saying, “This was left to you by Old Mr. Spence before 

he died. They can take everything else, but I can’t let them take this away.” 

Marie knew that Edward was loyal to Asher and good to her. Now that Asher was gone, Edward probably had no position in the Spence family anymore. 

The screams outside finally stopped, and Luca walked in. Edward asked nervously, “Luca, you didn’t hurt

stay somewhere else with me?” 

Edward shook his head. “No, I won’t. Ms. Spence, I’ve been living with Old Mr. Spence all my life. I don’t have any children. Where should I go? I’ll go back to Las Vegas in a few days and live in the Estate.” 

Marie nose was sore as she said, “Edward, I’ll arrange a place for you. You don’t have to go back to Las Vegas alone…”

Marie ignored her and left the mansion. Olive didn’t care. Anyway, it wouldn’t be long before Marie got out of

Just as Marie walked out of the door, she saw a low-key Audi parked in the corner outside. She recognized this car, probably the cheapest one in Dennis’ garage. She walked over and opened the car door, got into the back seat, and saw Dennis. She narrowed her eyes, smiled and asked, “Why are you here?” 

Dennis was a little unhappy and said, “Didn’t we agree on this yesterday? I was going to accompany you back in a couple of days to resolve the situation. Now you’ve come back on your own. What if you got injured?” 

Marie stuck out her tongue and said, “I won’t get hurt. Luca is here!” 

Dennis raised his eyebrows and looked at her. “So, you trust Luca more?”
