(The Blood Moon Night)
Arthur’s men and I stopped in front of the chamber, and instead of pushing me in as expected, they pulled away and left me all alone.
I looked back in surprise, as the warriors stared back at me with a stoic expression “Go in.” One of them commanded.
I took a deep breath and placed my hand on the door.
This was it, the moment I have been waiting for. I knew that the minute I stepped through the threshold, there was no going back.
Arthur must have set everything in place, all I needed to do was carry Lily from him, and hide her untill the Blood Moon fades away. By then Eros, my parents, Adonis, Beauty, and the women would’ve done swung into action. It was simple yet efficient plan.
The reason why Arthur had to be the one to steal Lily from her chambers filled with Nannies, was because he knew the palace much more than I did, and was the best one to get me Lily.
“We can do this.” Tiara said softly.
I finally summoned the courage I needed and pushed the door open.
The room was dark. Too dark.
There was no source of light anywhere. I frowned. This was unusual.
The door slammed shut behind me and I jumped. I released a deep breath when I realized it was nothing.
Still, I felt uneasy.
My skin crawled as I felt like I was not here alone. Someone else was in here, watching. I assumed it was Arthur.
“Arthur? Are you here?” I asked into the darkness.
There was no response.
“Is there a problem, Arthur?” I called out again.
My head whipped to the side when I felt a sudden movement from behind me. Goosebumps rose on my skin and I shivered.
“Is that you?” I squeaked. “Arthur!” I said loudly.
I gasped loudly when I felt a sharp sting on the side of my stomach as a knife drove into my skin.
Pain flooded my body and I groaned.
My hands fell lower to grab the knife, and I held the person's hand in mine as he fought to drive the knife deeper into me.
The unknown person finally managed to pull away and threw a blow in my direction, hitting me flat on the face.
My head whipped to the side and I fell to the floor. Refusing to give up, I scrambled painfully around the floor and grabbed the leg of the stranger.
It was a man, and I could tell he was one of the warriors from the texture of his clothes.
The man tried to pull his leg away from my grasp, but I refused to let go.
“Who sent you?” I asked heavily.
Blood oozed from my stomach as I began to lose strength.
The man bent and in a flash, more hands stabbed me with daggers at different sides.
The breath was knocked out of me.
My blood flowed.

This book is basically the same as Catching Genesis by Nicole Riddley, so don't waste your time on the crappy zoom and random % and 1/4 idk bout y'all but that got annoying quick...

Does anyone know when the next chapter will be released?? The suspense is killing me!...
Not sure why it is so difficult to read from chapter 8....it's like it is zoomed in permanently, I can't see the end of the sentences......
