The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 169

Harmony POV.

Ok, everyone is acting really strange, sly even. It is almost like I have woken up in the twilight zone. Even Melody and Mav are both acting strange. You know what? Let them keep their secrets. I chuckle as I watch them both from the kitchen as I sip my non caffeine coffee.

They are both talking in whispers, and Melody keeps giggling like it is some kind of private joke. Well, whatever it is, as long as my little darling is happy, that is all that matters to me.

I reach for my phone on the counter and read the messages I have sent to my momma; she has read them but not replied. Now that is just plain rude. Like seriously, I thought she was coming over today to take me shopping. Something must have happened. She will get in touch when she is ready.

The giggling has stopped, and I feel eyes on me. I cautiously chance a glance in their direction, narrowing my eyes and find them both staring at me before they look away and start whispering again.

I sigh and heave my fat ass towards the back door. It’s a beautiful day today, may as well sit outside and drink my disgusting coffee. As soon as Faith is evicted from my womb, the first I am having is a full fat, fully caffeinated coffee, not this shit. I don’t care if it still tastes the same. I know it isn’t.

Leaning in the chair, I sigh in contentment. This is the life, no drama, no arguments, just me, the sun, the patger, and my poor excuse of a coffee.

It is peaceful out here and I love it, I always have loved being outside in the wilderness. I am by no means a survival expert, but I do love a hike, swimming in the lake, just being outdoors.

Well, unless it snows, rains, blows a gale, or is cold, that is. Spring and summer are my months. I love my life in so many ways. I have two thriving businesses, a family that loves me and two special little girls and a boyfriend who is just the best. What more could a girl ask for? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

“Hey baby, we just need to go to the clubhouse. There has been some kind of emergency.” Mav says and I look at him over my shoulder and nod my head.

“That’s fine, just be careful.” I say with a smile, and he looks at me in confusion.

“No, baby, I need you to come with me. There has been a problem, and your parents have called for everyone to head to the clubhouse.” He says and I groan. Just great. I’m still in my pyjamas, and now I have to haul my ass out of my comfy chair to head to the clubhouse.

“Ok, give me a few minutes.” I say as he helps me up and kisses me on the lips.

“Take your time, oh, and wear the dress I have put on the bed for you.” I raise an eyebrow at him ok, that is strange. He wants me to wear a dress? But if I’m being honest with myself, trying to wiggle pants up my legs is a problem. I can’t see my feet. So a dress, ok, simple and easy, plus I won’t be sweating like a pig trying to get it on.

I waddle back inside the house and can’t see Melody.

“Mav, where is Melly?” I ask, and he once again looks sketchy.

“Oh, erm, Wild Child came and took her with him. He knows it will take a while for you to move your fine ass to get ready.” I just look at him and he shifts uncomfortably under my stare.

“Ok, give me ten minutes and I will be ready.” I say to him as I waddle up the stairs and walk to our bedroom and as he said, there is a maxi dress laying on the bed.

It is beautiful. It’s a blush colour with thick straps and it’s loose fitting. I don’t remember seeing this before, so Mav must have bought it for me; he is the sweetest. But right now, I know he is hiding something.

Oh god is this one of those guilt gifts? You know the ones when the spouse cheats and buys the wife or husband a gift to appease their guilt? Is he cheating on me? Oh my god, he is cheating on me.

All the secrecy, all the shady business, he finds me hideous and boring. I will admit we haven’t been having sex in a while because I can never find a comfortable position. So he has stepped out on me for a quick fumble.

Who is she? What does she look like? Is she the complete opposite of me, all tight, toned and tanned? Not being the size of a beached whale.

God, I’m so fucking stupid. Is it someone I know? Is she in the club? Oh well, she better watch her ass because hurricane Harmony is going to tear them both up.

I get dressed as quickly as I can, huffing and puffing to get my ass downstairs so we can go and I can confront this home wrecking bitch. No, it isn’t all her fault, Mav is just as fucking bad. I will cut his dick off and feed it to him!

Faith chooses that moment to kick me, and I gasp. Clutching my belly and breathe through the pain of her movement. When Mav comes towards me running and tries to hold on to me but I snarl at him and he backs up.

“Baby, what’s wrong is it Faith?” He asks all concerned. Well, fuck him!

“Don’t you dare touch me?” I say through gritted teeth, and he looks at me like I’ve lost my ever loving mind.

“Harmony, baby, what’s wrong? Why don’t you want me to touch you?” He asks, being the perfect fucking actor. Watch out Hollywood, there is a new A list celeb coming your way.

“Oh, that’s rich coming from you. Mr secretive. Tell me who is she? Why all the secrecy Maverick? Come on, I’m waiting.” I snap at him and he looks at me, confused. Then it dawns on him. The penny has dropped.
