The Biker’s Mafia Princess (Angel and Savage) novel Chapter 172

Wild Child POV.

I never quite understood all the hurrah when it came to babies and kids. I mean, come on, if you want something that whines and cries, shits, eats, sleeps and dribbles, then get a dog. Well, that was before I held this little miracle in my arms.

She is so tiny, so perfect, soft. She is the perfect combination of both my little sister Harmony and her husband, Mav.

Little Faith, with her blonde tuft of hair and those honey-silver eyes. The way her tiny hand grabs my index finger as she looks up at me from the safety of my arms.

Only hours old, I feel something inside of me crack and fall away. I want this. I want to be the proud daddy of a child that is fifty percent me. I would love to feel this feeling again. I’m overwhelmed as I look at Faith. The tears blur my eyes and I know I want a family of my own.

That I know now what has been missing for a while now. I want my own family, but in order for me to have what Harmony and my parents have, I need to find the perfect woman for me.

Well, I say need to find her. I think I already have. She is not part of the MC or mafia world. She is new to the area. I saw her a month ago when she walked into the bar looking for work.

Not the club’s bar, but Harmony’s bar. The Secret Cupboard. She is beautiful. Long black hair with neon blue and purple streaks. Nose ring and tattoos, she has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, clear crystal blue. Her name is Sophie. You wouldn’t think she was a Sophie with the way she looks, but then again I don’t look like a Harry. Sophie and I became friends. She is guarded and I know she is running from something.

“Harry, are you ok?” Harmony asks and I smile at my little sister and nod my head as I lift little Faith and kiss her forehead, breathing in her baby smell. She is just so precious.

She is my blood and I know I will protect her like I do for Harmony and Melly. I hate to admit it, but I love the kids, even the tiny terrors that are Johnny and James. But hey this is my family.

“Congratulations again, she is simply beautiful.” I hand Faith back to Harmony, who is watching me. Trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I may look like a hardass, but inside I’m soft and want to be loved like the next person.

I won’t lie. I have had my fair share of women over the years, but none of them I ever wanted to make my ole lady. Not like Sophie. Fuck, did I just think that? I did, and I smile at the thought of that beautiful woman wearing my patch.

“I need to head out. I will be back tomorrow. Rest, sis, you did good. She is beautiful.” I say as I kiss Harmony on her forehead and shake Mav’s hand before I kiss my momma and hug my dad’s before picking up Melly and kissing her cheek.

“Love you all.” I say with a wink as I walk out of the room. The entire club is here, and I nod as I walk past them all and head outside.

Just as I make my way towards my bike, I see a woman on a stretcher being wheeled past me. I do a double take and my eyes widen. Sophie.

I run in after the EMTs as the doctors give their orders and Sophie looks at me. Her face is a bloody and bruised mess. I see the tears forming in her crystal blues. She looks away before she disappears behind the door.

Who did that to her? Is it the reason she moved here? Who in their right mind would hurt her? I don’t have time to wait so I stroll into the room like I own the place and see her on a bed as the doctors check her over. My eyes are not leaving hers.

“Fracture to the eye socket, bruised ribs and stomach. Blow to the head.” I see fucking red as the doctor lists off his findings as Sophie’s eyes stay on mine and she groans and sobs in pain. I’m moving before I realise what is happening.
