After that, she deliberately didn't pick up Kieran’s calls.
Every time something like this happened, Kieran would be freaking out. This time was no exception.
"Alright, I'll go check it out. But if he's messed with Freya, he's in big trouble!" With that, Eloise, flanked by Cindy and Mae, headed into the school building.
The place was swarming with bodyguards from the Sutton family.
Upon spotting Kieran, Cindy waved enthusiastically, "Mr. Sutton!"
Kieran frowned, turning around only to spot Eloise not far away. Then, Eloise finally saw Freya standing beside Kieran. The sight of Kieran gripping Freya's arm turned Eloise pale instantly.
"Freya? How could you..." Cindy's expression soured, too, exchanging a look with Mae.
They had thought Kieran was there for Eloise, but he was there for Freya!
The atmosphere on the first floor of the school suddenly tensed up.
"Kieran... what's this all about?" Struggling to keep her composure, Eloise asked Kieran.
Shaking off Kieran's hand, Freya said, "Mr. Sutton, weren’t you here for Ms. Harwood? Well, here she is, so I'll be leaving."
With that, Freya made her exit, dragging Luna along.
Kieran, with a determined look, was about to follow when Eloise called out, "Kieran!"
