When Freya casually draped her hand over that guy's shoulder, Kieran's gaze turned icy enough to send shivers down your spine.
The guy, under the weight of Kieran's stare, edged closer to Freya, seeking some kind of refuge. "Hey sweetie, who's this guy?"
"You don't know who he is?"
Freya, with a playful lift of her eyebrow, said, "The big boss of The Sutton Group, my fiancé."
Upon recognizing Kieran, the guy tensed up. The others in the private room could feel trouble was about to start. They were actually trying to charm Mr. Sutton's fiancée!
Freya, unbothered, quipped, "Better skedaddle while you can."
But the guy was too shocked to grasp the lifeline Freya threw.
The next second, Kieran, barely containing his anger, barked, "Fuck off!"
That was their cue to bolt.
Luna, worried Kieran might not be bluffing, attempted to speak up for Freya. But before she could get a word out, Silas pulled her aside, shushing, "Zip it! This isn't your circus."
The door to the private room closed with a definitive thud.
Freya shrugged helplessly, "Mr. Sutton, we're all here to have a good time. I don't poke my nose into your business. Why fuss over mine?"
Kieran's eyes lingered on Freya, who was dressed the same as she had been earlier in the day. The alcohol had flushed her skin, and her lips looked as tantalizing as ripe berries, impossible to ignore.
"Having a good time?" Kieran stepped closer, a hand gently lifting her chin. "Do you even know what that means?"
"In this day and age? What's there not to understand? Don't tell me, Mr. Sutton, you came to Eclipse Lounge tonight and didn't eye a few pretty ladies."
There was a sly twinkle in Freya's eyes. She knew, both in her past life and now, Kieran was a man of discipline.
