Kieran took a deep breath, "If she really wants to graduate, she'll come to me."

Kara had been staying in her dorm for days, waking up at dawn and returning from the Suttons' like a nanny who wasn't paid a dime.
Her roommates, who had been expecting Kara to head to the Suttons', started to doubt her.
One of them tested the waters on purpose: "Our final year exams are almost over, and in a month or two, we'll be on summer break. Kara, you won't be able to stay in the dorm then. Are you planning to live with the Suttons, or would you like to stay at my place?"
