The woman was going berserk, screaming and attacking Johanna as if possessed. Johanna's face was a mess of scratches, and her cries of pain echoed throughout the conference room.
Freya watched the whole drama unfold with a sense of perverse satisfaction.
Meanwhile, the crisis at the Dawson Group was averted, and news of Freya taking over the reins of the Dawson Group spread to Kieran's ears.
Kieran was already dealing with a headache from the day's event. Hearing the news, his frown deepened. "The Dawson Group's crisis is over? How did that happen?"
Jarrett said, "Well, I'm not entirely sure... But I heard Ms. Dawson resolved the crisis."
"Freya?" Kieran's eyes narrowed dangerously when he heard about Freya handling the crisis.
Noticing his boss's mood, Jarrett cautiously suggested, "Mr. Sutton, perhaps we should visit the Dawson Group?"
"Freya put on quite the show yesterday, chasing Ellie off. She must've cut some deal with Grandma. And here I was thinking she was innocent!"
Kieran laughed coldly. He had underestimated Freya. He never expected that she would go to such lengths to resolve the crisis for the Dawson Group.
"Find out where Freya got those two billion from," Kieran instructed.
Jarrett answered, "Yes, Mr. Sutton."
As Kieran stood up, Jarrett asked, "Mr. Sutton, where are you going..."
"Going to the Dawson family." Kieran's voice was ice-cold. "I want to see for myself. With the facts right before her, how will Freya try to twist the truth this time!"
