The CEO's Amazing Ex-Wife Is Back (Thalassa and Kris) novel Chapter 211

Chapter 211
The light streaming through the blinds slowly woke Kris up. Groaning from all the delicious aches in his body, he stretched blissfully, reaching out to wrap his arm around the woman beside him—until his hand landed on a pillow instead.

His eyes snapped open, panic zinging through him as he realized Thalassa wasn’t in bed. She was standing at the foot of the bed, one of the sheets wrapped around her body.

A sense of déjà vu washed over him. This was exactly how things had played out the last time they made love, when she told him that what happened between them meant nothing and would never happen again.

Dread coiled tight in his stomach. He braced himself on his elbows, raising his body, his desperate eyes taking her in. He held his breath, waiting for her to tell him to get dressed and leave, but those words never came.

Instead, a slow, sexy smile curved her lips as she sauntered toward him, crawling across the bed.

“I thought you’d never wake up.”

Relief rolled through Kris. She wasn’t kicking him out. His excitement bubbled over as he smiled back.

“Can you blame me? You drained all my energy.”

Her mouth twisted in a mock bemused expression. “Me?”

“Yes, you,” Kris replied. “I wasn’t the one waking you up more than once in the middle of the night by stroking your dick.”

Thalassa’s face flushed, and Kris’s heart warmed. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen her blush, and it pleased him immensely.

“Not that I’m complaining,” he chuckled as he straightened further and placed his hand behind her head, stealing her already swollen lips.

She moaned, sagging into the kiss. The sound went straight to Kris’s already hard cock. When he pulled back, she was staring at him with dazed eyes.

She’d let go of the sheet around her body, so it had slid down, revealing the top of her breasts, which, like her neck and shoulders, were scattered with hickeys.

Kris winced as he placed a tender kiss on one of the hickeys. They’d made love more times than he could count throughout the night until dawn, and he feared he’d taken her with very little finesse, his need too strong and wild to be slow.

“I’m sorry. Did I hurt you?”

She blinked. “What?”

“Are you sore down?” he asked tentatively.

“You mean is my pussy sore after you spent hours ravaging me?” Thalassa said sheepishly. “Well, yes. It’s deliciously sore.”

Kris couldn’t help but let out a laugh. “Who even talks like that?”
