The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 287

Chapter 287

Her face drew close to his and she planted a kiss on his lips. “In my eyes, you are the most handsome. Celebrities are just celebrities. You are the one I love. I can do anything for you but I wouldn’t do the same for a celebrity. So, you don’t need to be jealous.”

If he lacked a sense of security, she could give him that sense. No matter how much he needed!

“Do anything…” His expression froze for a moment as if he hadn’t expected her to say that.

His heart was like being surrounded by a warm current, gradually spreading to his limbs and bones with each beat.

This was his Rosalie, the one he loved the most.

“I would do anything for you without hesitation!” he softly uttered but the words were solid.

This was a promise, a lifelong commitment.

This woman had unknowingly engraved herself into his life, even more important than his own life!

On the other side, Lillian joyfully looked at the photos that her friend had sent.

“Wow… such a handsome guy! Dominic truly lives up to his reputation in the entertainment industry, with both looks and acting skills. Even with that goofy appearance in his latest movie, he still manages to exude charm. Quite a rarity!”

Especially those limited edition posters that her friend sent, they were in extremely short supply. It was said to be a special gift from Dominic to his fans, obtainable through a lottery.

And now, Rosalie had all those limited edition posters. Lillian felt a pang of envy. Maybe she could negotiate with Rosalie to share one with her.

She particularly liked the one where he was half-naked, showing off his well-defined muscles. It was drool-worthy!

“What has you so captivated?” A voice chimed in, Lillian’s phone was suddenly snatched away from the table by another hand.

“Ah!” Lillian exclaimed softly, looking at Callum who was sitting across from her at the table. This guy… he had just taken her phone. “I wasn’t looking at anything. Give it back!”

Callum looked at the image on the phone screen and his expression darkened. It was Dominic! He could easily recognize Dominic’s face now, all thanks to Lillian.

Even though she was dating him, she had been binge-watching a TV series starring Dominic every day, even during their dates. She couldn’t resist keeping her phone with her and watching, making him who was normally oblivious to male celebrities, familiar with Dominic’s work.

Now, the image she had been looking at on her phone showed Dominic shirtless, striking a trendy pose, combined with his handsome face. It was bound to elicit screams from young girls.

Apparently from this 28-year-old woman too!

Callum’s gaze remained fixed on Lillian’s phone, contemplating whether he should take some action and block Dominic.

However, Lillian was fickle in her interests and followed a string of celebrities. He deleted them today. There will be new

ones tomorrow.

If he were to ban all the celebrities she followed, half the A-list and B-list celebrities in the entertainment industry would be banned.

Thinking about this, Callum felt a sense of helplessness.

He was quite good-looking himself and he treated her well. Why couldn’t she direct that enthusiasm for following celebrities toward him? He hadn’t even seen half of a photo of himself on her phone.

“You were just looking at Dominic, weren’t you?” he asked as he browsed through her phone. He saw that she had been chatting with Rosalie, who had sent her the poster pictures. The chat messages Lillian had typed seemed to be a horny girl.

The more he looked, the angrier Callum became. It seemed he needed to make her understand once again just who her boyfriend was!

“Yes,” Lillian admitted openly. “Rosalie is so lucky. Jonathan took her to the premiere of Dominic’s movie, and she even got to see him in person. These posters are the ones Dominic gave her.”

“He’s just an actor. A few posters, what’s the big deal?” Callum said.

Lillian was displeased by his comment, raising an eyebrow. “What, do you look down on actors?”

Callum’s face darkened even more. His beautiful black eyes fixed on her as he asked, “Do you want to defend him?”

Despite the cold tone, there was a hint of danger in his voice. Lillian quickly backed down. Following celebrities was valuable, but one’s life was even more precious!

“I… I was just saying it casually!” Lillian weakly replied.

“Is that so?” Callum said, with a smile that wasn’t a smile. “Then tell me, how much do you really like Dominic?”

“It’s just… he’s okay.” She shrugged. She wasn’t a fool. Even if she liked him quite a bit, she couldn’t admit it directly!

Of course, she had quite a few “quite liked” celebrities.
