In the cinema, she had turned off the sound, which is why she missed the calls. Now seeing several missed calls from Miles, she shrugged at Calvin, “I think it’s safer for you to cab back to the hotel now.”

“Why?”

“My brother found out I’m with you, and he seems… really mad.”

Though Miles hadn’t said anything harsh on the phone.

But for someone as usually calm and polite as him, that was practically raging.

Calvin straightened up, raising an eyebrow, “Can’t be that serious, can he? He’s not going to kill me, right? Didn’t you want to pretend to have a boyfriend to tick him off? I said I’d help you out.”

“I’ve thought it over, let’s not,” Felicity said, feeling uneasy but not wanting Calvin, an innocent bystander, to get involved.
