"She's mine."
Miles was unwavering in his belief.
Even if she wasn't ready to reconcile now, there would come a day she'd forgive him.
"Can you, for once, stop making Felicity cry?" Calvin raised an eyebrow, fixing his gaze on Miles. "All she wants is to be your top priority. Is that so hard? If you can't do that, then let her go. I'll take her. I don't care about her quirks or her little tantrums!"
"Well, keep dreaming, because I told you, she's mine."
Miles leaned in, scooping up the petite woman from the couch.
Behind him, Calvin instinctively moved forward, then stopped himself. "Does she even want to go with you? Miles, don't force her!"
Before he could say anything else, Felicity, perhaps catching a whiff of Miles's scent, snuggled closer in his embrace. "Miles..."
"I'm here. I'll take you back to bed."
"Mm..."
Miles didn't glance back at Calvin as he carried her to the bedroom.
Calvin stood there for what felt like an eternity, until his legs went numb, finally managing a stiff smile.
Losing to her Miles, wasn't that expected?
What was there to be disappointed about...

Whether it was jet lag or a lingering cold, Felicity slept straight through to the next afternoon!
Blearily opening her eyes, she was greeted by the sight of little daisies on the windowsill.
Oh...
She was back in her home in Anglonia, having returned from Eldorria City.
Feeling her eyelids heavy, she closed her eyes again, thinking of sneaking in a bit more sleep since she wasn't working today.
Suddenly!
Something clicked, and she bolted upright, eyes wide open!
Wait, she was supposed to be sleeping on the living room couch. How did she end up waking in her bedroom?
Felicity glanced behind her—
Even though she'd seen it all during their time living together, she couldn't help but freeze for a few seconds.
"You, you!"
Miles, just waking up, hastily grabbed the bathrobe to cover himself.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to..."
Felicity quickly turned away, "Do you want to sleep a bit more on the bed?"
"No, my clothes should be dry now."
He got up from the carpet, making his way to the bathroom in a disheveled state.
Shortly after, Miles reemerged, dressed in his shirt and suit.
"Felicity..."
"You're not dizzy anymore, right? You can leave now."
She had already given him shelter for one night!
"I'm not dizzy." Miles took a step towards her, trying to reach for her hand, but Felicity pulled away. "Felicity, I'm hungry..."
