"What was that?" Kevin didn't catch what Everett said.
"Nothing. Just get some rest."
After hanging up the phone, Everett felt like his mind had flung itself into turmoil. He definitely couldn’t sleep now.
He thought about returning to Eldorria City as soon as possible the next day to see if this was all a coincidence or something else.
...
Jeffrey was quite obedient. When Everett asked him to bring the kid to a hotel, he did so.
He glanced at the small figure walking beside him and patted the kid's forehead. "So, Everett really is your dad, huh?"
Langston looked up at him as his eyes blinked. "I don’t know. All I know is that I look a lot like him."
"And what about your mom? What's her name?"
Langston thought for a moment, then shook his head. "I don't know."
"And her surname?"
"I don't know that either."
Jeffrey had hoped to get some information out of the child, but it seemed like the kid knew very little.
“You must know what your mom looks like, right?” He asked curiously, eager to know who else besides Dorothy could have shared a bed with Everett. He realized he didn't know Everett as well as he thought he did.
But it was understandable. After being single for so many years, he thought Everett having some physical needs was normal. As a man, he understood.
“My mom is really beautiful!”
“I don’t doubt that.” Any woman that Everett was interested in would definitely be attractive.

The readers' comments on the novel: The CEO's Hidden Love: Midnight Temptations and Deep Desires
Sometimes Karen can be such a drama queen and immature....
For some reason I am now feeling suspicious about Kevin's new girlfriend....
I really hope this Perdita person is not a new villain....
I too echoed the sentiments of pppplllleeeaaaassssseeeeee bring this drama to an end. I beg of you!...
Really please finish this book and upload the full story so it can end. It's been drugout for so long!...
The intimate scenes in this story or uncomfortable to read. They either come off as being forced, painful, or simply not enjoyable....
Okay I left a long while ago and came back. Looks like it's been updated but still not done lol. I'll maybe wait 6 months before coming back and it'll probably still be going on. It's like a soap opera instead of a novel...
Kenneth is confirming something I've been thinking about him for several hundred chapters ago and that is he is a future murder suicide perpetrator. And after reading chapter 1275 yeah it's just brought the thought back....
How could Jeffrey throw the knife down at the scene of the crime with both their fingerprints on there?...
Again no update, so is this where it ends? Or post the whole book. Your dragging this out...
