Cordelia had been busy all day.
It wasn't until almost five that she remembered she needed to check out the house.
She had Shelley send her the address.
Then, Cordelia frowned slightly at the address: Sunridge Estates.
She recalled that this was the neighborhood where Olen used to live.
This neighborhood used to be famous, even appearing in various newspapers and media. But since the tragedy happened, the homeowners who had paid their house fees had requested refunds, and now almost no one lived there.
Turns out, Kendra's house was here.
Cordelia suddenly had a bad feeling.
But she couldn't put her finger on what was wrong.
She wanted to tell Ronan, but remembering what Shelley had said before, she kept quiet.
She wanted to text him that she was going to check out a house this afternoon and might stay at Shelley's house, so Ronan should go home first.
However, she had just typed half the message when Ronan's call came in.
"Olen's missing. You go home by yourself this afternoon." Ronan told Cordelia.
His voice was very serious.
"Huh? Don't worry. Olen's usually fine. There shouldn't be any problems." Cordelia comforted Ronan.
"You take a car home. I'm leaving now." Ronan said.
"Okay." Cordelia totally understood.
She packed up her things, hailed a car from downstairs, and headed to Sunridge Estates.
...
Sunridge Estates.
The house Kendra mentioned hadn't been lived in at all. The door wasn't even locked. Kendra gave her the address and let her check it out by herself.
When Shelley entered, she felt it was very gloomy and scary.
