The following day, when Cordelia got up, Ronan was already off to work. She remembered she had yoga classes every afternoon at Lumos Enterprises. She wasn't sure if Kitty had changed her schedule.

[Kitty, Lumos Enterprises is open for business. We might need to adjust our class timetables. What do you think?] Cordelia sent a message to Kitty.

Cordelia knocked on the door of Ronan's office.

"They're all upstairs negotiating contracts with Wyatt. You should go check on them." Ronan said.

"Okay." Cordelia replied, a little slow on the uptake, then turned to leave.

Just as she turned around, Ronan grabbed her wrist, "Let me walk you to the elevator."

Cordelia was startled, wondering whether she had turned too slowly or he had moved too quickly.

After he finished, Wyatt spread his hands out. To those who spent their days in the office, time seemed to have no meaning. A few days without seeing Cordelia, and her belly had grown so much.

"Actually, Ms. Haselwood, the reason we initially wanted to sign a contract with First Enterprises was solely because of you. Since you've resigned from First Enterprises, it's only natural that we follow you." Will said.
