One day, Brenda ran into Deanna at a large mall that was rarely frequented. Deanna was deliberately low-key, and her attire was rather down-to-earth. However, due to her celebrity status, Brenda recognized her instantly.
Brenda was ticked off. "Well, look at the movie star here," Brenda said.
Deanna didn't recognize Brenda and assumed she was just an ordinary fan. At this point in time, Deanna found it quite reassuring to still have fans.
"Would you like an autograph?" Deanna asked, pulling a pen from her bag as she spoke.
"Not really. Just thought you should know that you pretended to send a package and caused Samantha's house to burn down, resulting in her grandmother's death. You and Samantha are really two peas in a pod... not a single good one among you." Brenda, dressed in a professional skirt suit and carrying a Hermes bag, looked incredibly competent. But when she started swearing, she showed no mercy.
"What?" Deanna was completely confused, not understanding what this “fan” was talking about.
But she did know Samantha, and the two were archenemies. To say that she and Samantha were like two peas in a pod was a provocation.
"You're spreading false rumors! I'll sue you for defamation!" Deanna retorted.
Brenda was unafraid. "Go ahead, I'm just worried the court doesn't know about this yet. You're just exposing your own dirty deeds. You're really smart."
With that, Brenda flicked her hair and left.
Deanna stood there, still confused, wondering what that woman was talking about?
She dialed her agent, asking him to check on what Samantha was currently doing. Not long after, the agent called back. "Ms. Deanna, Samantha is currently on a period drama set, auditioning for an insignificant role. I know the casting director," the agent informed her.
One day, Deanna was lying in wait at the entrance of Garden Estates. Around eleven o'clock, she saw Cordelia and Janice coming out.
Janice found a seat in the café for Cordelia, then left. Taking advantage of the situation, Deanna entered the café. It was a workday, so there weren't many people in the café.
Once inside, Deanna took off her sunglasses. "It's been a while, Ms. Haselwood." Deanna always referred to Cordelia as "Ms. Haselwood."
The presense of Deanna put Cordelia in a bad mood.
"What do you want?" Cordelia asked.
"Oh, I heard that Ms. Haselwood has been upset about my situation recently. Indeed, I did arrange for the package to be sent to Samantha. She was just my assistant, but now she's trying to punch above her weight. I couldn't tolerate it, so I sent the package. I didn't intend to kill your grandmother. I wanted to kill Samantha. Unfortunately, she's still alive and well. However, this issue has been taken care of by Ronan. He also helped me make a comeback! After all, I'm Ronan's ex-girlfriend, and we have a history. You understand, don't you, Ms. Haselwood?" Deanna, with her fiery red lips, spouted off at Cordelia.
