The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1371

Justin wrapped his large hands around Bella’s waist, slowly tightening his grip. The corner of his lips gradually curled up, expressing the looks of a helpless man.

This woman’s thoughts were always out of the box. Being with Bella, he would probably never have a boring day.

Amelia said, “Bella… I know you are comforting me.”

Although Bella did not take it to heart, the overwhelming sense of guilt made Amelia’s eyes redden. “If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t be involved, suffering from the Iverson family’s retaliation… It’s all my fault. I was too weak and foolish… That’s why things turned out like this.”

As Amelia spoke, crystal-clear tears fell down her cheeks, dropping on her trembling hands in a distressing splatter.

Bella gave her man a gesture.

Justin was startled. He quickly leaned toward the coffee table and grabbed a few tissue papers, handing them to Bella.

Bella was speechless. ‘What was he giving it to me for? I’m not the one crying. He should just hand it to Amelia directly.’

She wiped Amelia’s tears away, hesitated for a moment, and sighed with a heavy heart. “Amelia, it is me who should apologize. I could not demand justice for you or avenge you. Charles was still released.”

Her last few words were hoarse. Her voice was obviously choking up, and her eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings.

As Amelia was present, Justin could only suppress his emotions, but the burning anger surging within his eyes, the veins bulging on his hand, and his tense muscles revealed his resentment. The chilling air surrounding him was as sharp as a drawn blade.

Amelia’s round and moist eyes widened, repeatedly shaking her head, “It’s enough. Bella, it’s really enough. Let this matter stop here! Don’t continue…”

“Stop here? Why should we stop here?”

Bella clenched her fists angrily, making a cracking sound. “Charles bullied you, injured Steven severely, and harmed so many innocent girls, letting them live in the shadows of humiliation, unable to speak out.

“We visited one of the girls today, trying to persuade her to testify. We know they are afraid of the Iverson Group, so we wanted to back them up, hoping the Iverson Group would not dare to act recklessly. However… I was too naive. Our progress was not optimistic. Coupled with my damaged reputation, the girls’ family was wary of me, refusing to meet me.”

Bella gritted her teeth. “But I won’t give up. I will think of another way. When a door closes, a window opens. I’ll bring down Charles sooner or later!”

“I’ll think of something too.”

Justin calmed his breath, but his eyes reddened. “Even if we can’t find a breakthrough in Charles’ case, I will use other methods to make sure the Iverson Group never has a good day.”

The living room suddenly fell into a heavy silence.

After a while, Amelia slowly raised her head. Her moist and red eyes sparkled with a determined light after washing away the fear and gloom.

“Bella, Justin, I am willing to testify against Charles.”
