The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1384

Amelia bit her pale lips. She took the phone in a panic, carefully pressing it against her flushed ear.

“Dad…”

“Amelia, the world has been turned upside down because of your livestream. But you really know how to pick a location. You chose our family’s hotel. That’s cunning of you. Did you learn it from Bella?” Wyatt teased.

“N-No…”

Amelia was embarrassed, stammering, “Dad, I’m sorry... Everything happened because of me. It’s all my fault. Don’t blame Bella…”

“After letting out what you’ve been holding in for so long, do you feel better?”

Her father’s sudden question stunned Amelia. “Huh?”

“I know that incident has weighed heavily on your mind, and you could not let it go. Your mother hid in her room almost every night, crying silently for you. If coming forward to expose Charles’ vile acts tonight makes you feel better, then I will support your decision fully.” Wyatt’s husky voice was gentle and slow, as if afraid of frightening his timid daughter.

Amelia was shocked, causing her eyes to redden instantly. “Dad… I…”

“Good girl, don’t cry. Don’t feel like you’ve done something wrong. You are incredibly brave tonight. Your mother and I are very proud of you.”

The infamous business tycoon suddenly felt a lump in his throat, but he forcefully kept his composure and smiled. “From now on, be straightforward and open. Don’t be afraid to do something or speak out. You are my daughter. If anyone dares to look down on you, I’ll crush them!”

Burning tears streamed down Amelia’s face, staining her delicate cheeks.

After she hung up, Bella’s phone had already become wet, as if it had been fished out of the water.

Bella and Justin were worried upon seeing Amelia like this. Steven quickly took a handkerchief from his coat pocket and wiped her tears hastily. He felt so distressed that he could hardly catch his breath, but he dared not probe further.

“Amelia, did Wyatt scold you?” Bella asked softly.
