The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1425

Bella’s rapidly beating heart had not calmed down yet as she pretended to be cool, asking, “After that, didn’t you try to find that girl?”

“I’ve never stopped searching for her, but I don’t even know her name or what she looks like. There’s nowhere to start.”

Justin smiled self-mockingly. “I gave her a nickname, Little Dove. Doves symbolize hope. I was able to come back alive from the battlefield because of her. She gave me hope.”

Bella’s eyes teared up again.

At this point, regardless of whether he knew she was Little Dove, it was enough.

……

The couple cleaned up the kitchen and living room, took a bath together, and changed into clean matching pajamas, preparing to end the day in their room.

At this time, Ian returned.

“Ian, you’re back? Have you eaten? If not, I’ll heat something up for you,” Bella asked with concern, sounding more like a considerate elder sister than his boss’s wife.

“I’m not hungry.”

Ian quickly shook his head, his eyes dim, and his brows furrowed with a rare sadness.

Bella and Justin exchanged glances. Their thoughts were connected, so they understood what each other was thinking without saying a word.

“Ian, I’ve been having trouble sleeping for the past two days. I’d like a drink to aid in my sleep. Come have a drink with me.” Justin ordered in a light tone.

Ian naturally could not reject it. “Yes, Mr. Salvador.”

“You guys go ahead. I’ll excuse myself. My waist feels sore.” Bella frowned slightly.
