The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1432

“It couldn’t be James.” Justin decisively gave his analysis when Bella was confused, as if a strategist who served a queen.

“James had already achieved his aim, and there’s no need for any extra action. It’s a huge risk to murder someone in jail. He had already suffered once due to his recklessness, so he wouldn’t do it again.”

“Yeah, I agree.” Bella nodded earnestly.

“Although there’s no evidence, I think it feels like what Christopher would do. Besides, with his power in Sentania and his secretly developed network in Savrow, it wouldn’t be hard for him to hire someone to kill Charles in jail.” Justin continued analyzing as he frowned.

“Yeah, that makes sense. When in doubt, suspect Christopher!” Bella pursed her lips, showing full agreement with his words.

Justin’s rough fingers tipped Bella’s chin up, his gaze doting and indulging.

“Now that you guys said so, I’m starting to suspect him too. I checked Charles’ visiting records for the past few days this morning, and the last person to visit him was indeed Christopher!”

Ralph provided a piece of extremely important information, which made the couple’s eyes light up.

“Ralph, doesn’t the visiting room have a surveillance camera? Can you retrieve the footage for us to see?” Justin quickly asked.

“I can, but due to privacy protection principles, we only have video recordings without sound.”

“Then we will hire a lip-reading specialist to decipher what Christopher and Charles talked about,” Bella immediately suggested.

“That’s my plan too, but it’s a pity that we did not capture Christopher’s face clearly on the video, only Charles. But we should still be able to get some useful information. Wait for my news. I’ll get on it now!”

After the call, Bella lowered her eyes, falling into silence.

“Bella, what is it? Are you in a bad mood?”

Justin placed his hand on her waist, lifting her onto his thigh, and let her lean sideways against him as he gently patted her back. “Originally, we hoped Charles would be sentenced to death and thought we needed to work more on it. Now, someone has saved the work for us. He died miserably. No matter what, it’s not a bad thing.”
