“Uh… H-Hold up, Ryan.” With Ryan’s playful touches stirring a tickling sensation under her skin, Carrie placed both hands on his chest and nudged him away.

Yasmin broke out into a snicker.

As Ryan’s heaving grew heavy with desire, he nuzzled up her ear and murmured in a raspy voice, “Why did you let go of my hand when your father expressed his disapproval of our relationship, Carrie?”

Carrie kept her head down bashfully. “I was afraid Dad would take his anger out on you. I didn’t want to put you in the spot, Ryan.”

Overcome by a sudden urge to cry, Ryan teared up and sealed her lips. “Remember, never let go of my hand, no matter what happens.

“Please love me forever. Please don’t ever leave me.”
