The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1593

Asher said, “Bella, Justin, we’ve just received news about the Iversons.”

Celeste immediately took the hint and turned to Bella. “I’ll take Amelia outside for a bit.”

“There’s no need for that, Aunt Celeste. We’re all family here. There’s nothing that can’t be shared.”

Bella’s expression turned serious. “Ash, go ahead.”

Steven, who was nearby, also listened intently.

Ever since Winston severely injured him and the Iversons almost crippled his left arm, Bella had insisted that Steven focus solely on his recovery and his relationship with Amelia, keeping him away from business matters.

But having spent years in the business with Asher and Bella, Steven still had a passion for work. He did not care for high positions or wealth. He just wanted to be of use to the Thompsons.

However, since Shannon’s case, Steven had not been at work for a while, making him feel somewhat restless.

“Bella, do you remember when James took that resort project in Terranova from me? As expected, the problems quickly surfaced after the project began,” Asher said, his eyes darkening.

“Yeah. There’s a small village on the main road leading to the resort, with about a dozen households. Their presence significantly impacts the land planning for the resort unless the Iversons can clear out that village and relocate those residents.”

Bella continued shaping her dumpling skin calmly. Then her lips curled into a smile. “Heh, but I doubt it’ll be that easy. If it were, the Terranova government would’ve handled it already. Why would they conceal the fact? Were they trying to deceive the people? If they could clear the village, the land value would increase by at least another billion.”

Steven nodded in agreement.

Amelia looked at her sister with adoration, her eyes sparkling with admiration, almost bubbling over with excitement.

No wonder Steve once admired Bella so deeply, willing to risk his life for her. If she were a man, she too would be captivated by her beautiful and wise sister.

In comparison, she seemed weak and ordinary…

She was truly fortunate to have Steven’s love.
