The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1604

Christopher’s expression resembled that of a ruthless predator, who no longer bothered to hide his true nature in front of James.

“So... You’ve suddenly come back just to take revenge against the Iverson family?! You’re responsible for what happened to both Charles and Astrid, aren’t you? Now you’re coming after me too?! You shameless and despicable jerk!”

James was livid, his anger shaking him to his core as his emotions neared a breaking point. “I’m going to tell Dad! I’ll tell him everything you’ve done! I’ll make him see through your sinister intentions, your ugly face!”

“What does Astrid’s imprisonment have to do with me? That was the work of Justin and Bella. As for Charles, they were the ones who exposed him, so what does that have to do with me?”

Christopher was amused by James’ panicked appearance. “Besides, do you think you still have any credibility in front of Dad now? Dad feels disgusted just looking at you. How could he possibly believe your nonsense?”

His laughter sent shivers down James’ spine. James had underestimated Christopher, believing that a son who was neglected by his father and left out of the company would find it difficult to establish himself even if he returned to Savrow and tried to make it on his own.

Unexpectedly, Christopher had been plotting in secret for 15 years, and when he came back, he set up a trap that left them helpless. How did this once easily manipulated pretty boy turn into a ruthless shark that left them with no chance to fight back? Whose support had Christopher been relying on all along?

“You son of a bitch! I’ll kill you!”

James seethed with rage. His eyes were bloodshot as he raised his fist to punch Christopher’s face. But at that moment, the door to the conference room opened.

“Mr. Christopher, the chairman has been waiting for you inside.” Lance’s secretary gestured politely.

Christopher forcefully shoved James, making the latter stumble. He raised his chin slightly and walked inside arrogantly.

As the door closed, James realized his injuries had not been tended to yet. The pain made him collapse, and he held his head in agony.
