Aaron stopped in his tracks.

His patience was tested.

Bella shook off Justin’s arm and approached Aaron aggressively.

She raised her arm, her eyes bulging, and gave Aaron two slaps with all her might.

Everybody, including Justin, was stunned.

Even Aaron was taken aback by the sudden attack.

His burning cheek, buzzing ears, and bloodied lips woke him up from the trance. ‘She slapped me?!’

“Bella!”

Feeling humiliated and angry, Aaron put his hand over his face and was on the verge of blowing up.

Justin raced to Bella’s side and held her tightly in his arms, his menacing gaze meeting Aaron’s.

Intimidated by Justin’s piercing eyes, Aaron lost himself to fear for a moment.

“The first one is for Arnold. I don’t care about your relationship with him, but he’s like a brother to me. He’s my friend! If you think you can walk out of here like nothing ever happened, you have to go through me.” Bella commanded attention.

“Wow! You’re amazing, Bella!” Sasha cried excitedly.

If no one would put Aaron in his place, Sasha was ready to make him pay.

Aaron was a highly educated elite. He had never been insulted.

He was above petty squabbles. Hence, he pointed at Bella’s beautiful face, his voice strained. “You are indebted to my family. Yet, you have the nerve to raise your hand at me. You’re ungrateful! Your family is a bully!”

“Ungrateful?” Displeased, Justin said, “As you said, Mila begged your grandfather for the drug. In other words, Bella should be grateful to Mila, or, in any case, your grandfather. What does it have to do with you?”

Aaron pulled a long face.

Bella said sarcastically, “I’m indebted to your family? In that case, you should remove my uterus. I don’t see the point of keeping it anyway. I don’t want kids. You can take it!”

“Psycho!”

Unable to win physically and verbally, Aaron ran away with his tail tucked between his legs.
