The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1626

Before his words fell, Alvin suddenly stood up with a gloomy face and snatched the stick from the butler’s hand, striding toward Arnold.

“Ugh!”

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through Arnold’s legs. Two bodyguards had appeared behind him, hitting him with a stick and forcing him to kneel!

“You ungrateful brat! You made such a huge mistake, yet you still have the guts to joke around! You still dare to talk back?!”

Alvin widened his bloodshot eyes and swung his arm fiercely. The stick landed hard on Arnold’s back, making a sickening thud that frightened the crowd!

However, Arnold only groaned once.

The stick hit his back over and over as the two bodyguards held his arms, leaving him defenseless. Arnold was in so much pain that his stomach felt twisted. His vision gradually blurred, and the metallic taste of blood grew stronger in his throat.

But he refused to beg for mercy or lower his head.

The brutal beating made Aaron’s heart jump with fear. He turned away, not daring to watch.

“The best do not need teaching; the mediocre need harsh teaching; and someone like you, who is useless and ungrateful, needs to be beaten!”

As Alvin’s words fell, he lifted his arm high, then brought it down heavily!

The next second, a crisp sound rang out!

The stick that was a few inches wide had cracked into two pieces on Arnold’s back.

The dead silence of the surrounding crowd was shattered by shocking gasps.

Arnold’s handsome face was drained of blood and so pale that it was almost transparent. He felt as if he had fallen into an icy cave, uncontrollably trembling.

He bit down hard on his lower lip as blood stained his lips. It was a tragic and glaring sight.

“Dad!”

Aaron rushed over in a panic at this moment, lowering his voice nervously. “After this beating, you’ve vented your anger, and Arnold has received his lesson. Let’s talk. If you continue beating him, it won’t end well, especially with so many people watching. We can’t explain it to Grandpa either.”
