The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1656

Asher asked, “Bella, do you hate me for deceiving you?”

Bella widened her beautiful eyes. Hate?! Such a heavy word. She had never thought about it, much less expected her brother to ask her this one day.

“Ash, did something happen? Why are you asking me this all of a sudden?” Bella grasped his strong arms with both hands and gently squeezed them. “Ash, just tell me what is going on. Don’t scare me like this, please.”

Asher looked down in silence, his expression darkening.

“Ash, no matter what you have done, you will always be my big brother! I won’t hate you!” Perhaps too many things had happened, and now hearing Asher’s somber words, Bella’s emotions momentarily unraveled. Her voice choked with sobs. “No matter what happens, you will always be the best in my heart! You’re irreplaceable!”

“You little fool... You...” Asher gave her a bitter smile. His large hand gently ruffled her soft hair.

Justin silently watched from the side. In the past, he might have been bubbling with jealousy. But at this moment, his attention was entirely on Asher. He sensed that Asher had something heavy on his mind.

This brother-in-law had always been very mysterious in his eyes. Since their perilous adventure on South Island, Justin has become more convinced that Asher has an unknown yet thrilling past.

Suddenly, chaotic footsteps approached.

“Bella! Ash!”

The three of them turned around simultaneously, stunned!

“Aunt Mila?! Why… Why are all of you here?!”

Bella was utterly shocked. “What? The internet?!”

“Ash, I know you don’t want us to worry, but you should consider the overall situation!” Axel loved his little sister dearly and could not bear to be angry at Bella, so he vented his frustration on Asher.

“You kept it from us, not letting us know Dad’s condition immediately. Is that reasonable? Do you genuinely not want us to worry, or do you not trust us to help shoulder the burden for the family?!”

Asher’s brows furrowed tightly, the bitterness in his heart growing stronger.

“Ax, you should not speak to Ash like that. That’s too much!” Declan, knowing Axel’s impatience, hurriedly stepped forward to pull his arm back.

“Yes, Ax, how can you doubt Ash?”
