The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1668

“Family? Are you, though?”

Declan took a step ahead while narrowing his eyes dangerously. “Well, I’m not back often, but this is an eye-opener. What kind of family would be so vile as to use their child as a punching bag and hold him in captivity?”

“No decent human would do this,” Axel chimed indignantly.

“What do you know? This is a family matter. He went against the family rules, so he must be punished. The rules were set a long time ago. We live by codes, unlike your disrespectful family, even accepting someone who takes multiple wives.” Alvin looked at them with a pretentious smile.

Different from his reckless son, Alvin was manipulative and spoke with subtle, sinister undertones.

Declan furrowed his brows and clenched his fists. “Don’t waste your breath. You’re not taking Arnold anywhere, not on my watch.”

“Aaron, go and get your brother.”

With his patience running thin, Alvin intended to break his way in.

Axel was alarmed while Declan’s muscles bulged underneath his suit.

The fight was inevitable.

Beep, beep, beep!

A piercing siren filled the air.

Four SUVs advanced closer and surrounded them.

The car doors opened, and out came young men in light-colored suits over floral shirts. They put their hands in their pockets and swaggered with their heads held up.

Aaron broke out in a cold sweat. “Dad, I think they are from the mafia.”
