The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1672

Fortunately, the Thompsons gave Arnold enough support. Arnold had also made up his mind.

The Larson family’s plan fell apart, and they even received a beating.

On top of that, everyone got to hear a juicy piece of the Larson family’s gossip.

It was a pleasant surprise!

The Thompson family took Arnold and left, looking like a true family.

Alvin stared at Mila’s back resentfully, unwilling to accept defeat, but the Southern Star Syndicate’s men were still blocking him. Alvin could only take this loss.

On the way back, Arnold wrapped his hands around Mila’s shoulder, holding back his tears while teasing, “Aunt Mila, if you ever want to change your last name, hit me up.”

“Silly boy, it’s just a surname. What can it represent?”

Mila smiled gently and grasped Arnold’s hand tightly. “Your home is where your heart is.”

Arnold did not speak, as tears streamed down his face silently.

“Arnold, I’m sorry for those harsh words I said to you earlier... I forced you into a corner. I’m really sorry.” Mila was full of guilt.

“It’s all in the past, Aunt Mila.”

Arnold burst into a beautiful smile through the tears. “Let bygones be bygones. I only want to look forward.”
