The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1703

Roza froze. Her heart felt as if it had been pierced by a sharp icicle.

“Alright.”

She responded softly, her trembling hand reaching into her coat pocket. Slowly, she pulled out a badge that she had kept close to her heart, clutching it tightly in her palm.

Then, she turned around.

At this moment, Axel was looking at her intently, extending his hand toward her.

Roza pressed her pale lips together and placed the badge in his palm. Just as she was about to withdraw her hand, his strong hand suddenly wrapped around hers and pulled her forcefully.

Caught off guard, Roza was pulled into his embrace. Without giving her a chance to react, Axel held her by the waist and sealed her lips with a passionate, intense kiss. The kiss deepened, becoming more demanding. His possessiveness overwhelmed her as he explored her lips and tongue.

Roza’s mind became hazy, her nerve endings tingling as if electrified. She began to embrace him passionately, responding to him.

After a long kiss, Axel reluctantly pulled away from her lips, gently holding her chin with his fingertips, a slight smile playing on his lips. “Earlier, your face went pale. Were you scared that I would really leave and take it back?”

“No, you’re so full of yourself...” Roza’s eyes welled up with tears, and her voice choked with emotion.

“That stubbornness—did you learn it from your master?” Axel sighed, both indulgent and helpless, pulling her into his arms again. “What’s the use of having everything else? I don’t care. I only like you. You’re the best thing in the world to me.”

In that moment, all hesitation and doubt shattered one by one under the man's unwavering decision.

“My darling Roza, please be my girlfriend.”

Axel’s eyes shimmered with a sincere light like twinkling stars. “From now on, let me love you, cherish you, and take care of you. Whatever you’ve lost before, whatever you haven’t received, let me slowly find it back for you. Please, give me this chance.”

He wasn’t good at fancy words, and these few sentences were the best he could muster after racking his brain.
