The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1755

“Carrie…” Bella and Justin were both stunned.

Then, Bella’s lips curled slightly upward as she looked gratefully at Carrie, feeling warmth in her heart.

“My wife is right. You all are spreading rumors and causing trouble right in front of Mr. Salvador and Ms. Thompson. Do you think the legal departments of Salvador Corporation and KS Group are just for show?” Ryan stepped in, placing a protective hand on Carrie’s shoulder, her cold eyes glaring at the group.

“If you think you are capable, say it again. The Hoffman Group can play this game too.”

The gossipy old women were already embarrassed by Carrie’s reprimand, and with Ryan’s intimidating presence, they huddled together like quails, too frightened to breathe.

“I recognize you, Mr. Iverson.” Carrie elegantly lifted her skirt and walked over, her slender figure shielding Bella. For the first time, she bravely met the strangers’ eyes. “Mr. Iverson, are you my sister-in-law’s friend?”

Bella’s lips curled into a cold smile. Friend? That word was too tainted. But she did not blame Carrie. The innocent Carrie could not know the bloodshed and darkness behind this, nor did she want her to.

“Ms. Salvador, what do you want to say?” Christopher asked with a smile, maintaining his elegant demeanor.

“If you are my sister-in-law’s friend, you should have immediately stood up to clarify when you saw her being slandered, not just watched her being misunderstood and done nothing.” Carrie, always straightforward, vented her anger directly at Christopher. “A true friend should not be so cold-blooded. Your actions really disappoint my sister-in-law.”

Bella quickly took Carrie’s soft hand and pulled her into an embrace, keeping her away from this viper. Christopher’s face darkened, and his smile froze awkwardly.

It was said that sincerity was always the ultimate weapon. With just a few words, Carrie not only extricated Bella from the ambiguous situation but also made Christopher look like a heartless villain.
