The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1888

Upon hearing her words, Ryan’s eyes darkened. “You’ve called the wrong number. If you have a problem, call the police. I’m not handling this.”

Call the police? She would not dare to call them!

After spending years with Liam, her hands were far from clean. If she reported this to the authorities, they would uncover everything, and she would eventually end up behind bars.

“Ryan! Liam has gone mad! He killed your grandfather!” Selena screamed hoarsely.

Ryan froze, then spun around abruptly. His handsome face was tense, and every muscle strained as his heart pounded against his ribcage.

“What did you just say? Repeat that!”

“Last night… Liam asked to meet your grandfather at the old Hoffman Estate. After hearing about it, I followed them, intending to settle the divorce issue with your grandfather face-to-face… But instead, I saw Liam and Lewis dragging body bags out of the villa. I even heard Liam instruct Lewis to dispose of your grandfather and his secretary’s bodies!”

Selena’s voice trembled as she recounted the terrifying scene, replaying it in her mind. “I was so scared that I turned and ran, but they saw me! They must have seen my car and realized it was me. I’ve been hiding in a small motel since last night. I’m too terrified to get out of here. Liam’s men are definitely hunting for me. He’ll kill me if I show up in front of him! If he can kill his father, what am I to him?”

“The bodies… Did he say how he’s going to handle the bodies?” Ryan’s mind was reeling, and he struggled to keep his voice steady.

“He told Lewis to take them west. I don’t know anything else other than that!”

“Yasmin, stay here.”

Ryan quickly hung up. Without further explanation, he disappeared like a dark whirlwind into the crowd.

He could not hear Selena’s continued cries over the phone. He relied solely on his instincts as he pushed forward.

All he could see were the happy and smiley faces of the families around him.

It was like the entire world was perfect, except for the small part with him in it, which was collapsing into darkness.

Memories flashed through his mind like lightning.
