The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1915

The news that Bethany was not Gregory’s biological daughter spread faster than a virus, making it impossible for the Salvador Corporation to control the situation even if they wanted to.

Nigel, still hospitalized, was shocked and uncontrollably furious upon hearing the news. He called Gregory over that night.

Bella and Justin were present, but Nigel showed no regard for Gregory’s dignity and immediately yelled at him in front of the youngsters.

“What did I tell you? Things are messy now. Don’t act recklessly. Besides, Carrie is still in a coma. As her father, you should stay by her side day and night. Don’t do anything unnecessary!

“Was it so important what others speak of us? Compared to my precious granddaughter, your so-called family image is nothing! As the head of the Salvador family, do you need to scramble to explain yourself to outsiders? Where was your decisiveness when you were young? How can you become more foolish with age, degrading yourself with every action you take?!”

Nigel’s face was pale with rage as he struggled to catch his breath. Bella quickly came forward and patted his back while Justin handed him a cup of water. “If not for your presumptuous actions, how would things have gotten to this irreversible point? The image you tried too hard to maintain has already been spat on, thrown into the mud, and trampled upon!”

Regret and shame flooded Gregory. He bit his lips, his heart twisting in pain, and his face burning like a boiling kettle.

Although Nigel had always scolded Gregory and had said harsher words to him before, this time, each word felt like a needle stabbing his face.

Gregory felt too ashamed to show himself because he thought that he was a complete fool, played and deceived by Shannon for over twenty years.

“Even if I am at fault…” Gregory gritted his teeth, his furious and resentful gaze landing on Justin. “Can your precious grandson say that he doesn’t have any ulterior motives?”

Justin kept a calm face, his gaze darkening.
