The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1951

Wyatt’s gaze deepened. “For your sake, he ended up like this, needing a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He lived quietly abroad and alone for so many years. Now he has returned, seeing you nearly control the entire Salvador Corporation, successful and prominent, taking away everything that should have belonged to him as the eldest son. Do you think he can truly be at peace with that? Do you think he’ll hand everything over to you and live as a wealthy idle man?”

“During the years my brother was in Meridan for treatment, we often exchanged emails and phone calls privately. When I needed help, he did his best to assist me. What you said makes sense, but I have yet to see any resentment from him toward me,” Justin replied to his future father-in-law without holding anything back, causing some discomfort.

Wyatt clicked his tongue. “You have been the president of a corporation for several years and gone through a divorce, yet you are still so naive.”

Justin, despite feeling chastised and barely able to lift his head, felt quite happy. It reminded him of what Ryan used to say about him. He did have a bit of a masochistic tendency.

“He is in his thirties. Unless his brain has gone to the dogs, how could he possibly wear his heart on his sleeve?” Wyatt spoke candidly, not treating him as an outsider. “In a wealthy family, even full-blood siblings can turn against each other for power and profit, let alone half-brothers.”

“Chairman Thompson, please don’t put too much pressure on Mr. Salvador. Not all wealthy families are like that,” Quentin said from the passenger seat, unable to hold back. “Look at our Thompson family. Whether it’s the wives or the sons and daughters, even if they’re not from the same mother, they still respect and love each other and maintain harmonious relationships.”

“That’s because none of my kids have a normal brain! They either want to worship Jesus or be a good civil servant!” Wyatt got angry just thinking about it, shaking his head frequently and questioning his life. “Except for Bella, who is willing to inherit my business, none of the others are fit for the role! In other families, children fight tooth and nail for the heir's position, while in our family, they spit out the meat fed to them, complaining it’s too fatty!”

Quentin could only smile wryly.

Justin smiled faintly, his star-like eyes reflecting genuine envy and longing. In fact, he knew very well that each of the Thompson children was outstanding and talented. The reason they developed in their respective fields was not because they could not bear the family’s responsibilities but because they all cherished Bella, unanimously leaving the biggest stage to their beloved sister.
