The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 2008

At midnight, Yvonne sat in her car outside a suburban villa.

She had changed into a fiery red, skin-tight dress. Her long black hair was styled into a bun, adorned with a gold hairpin. She looked elegant and stunning, fitting the aesthetic Christopher required of her. However, what she was about to do was filthy to the core.

Her icy fingertips brushed the hem of her dress as she let out a bitter laugh. It was such a fine silk garment, so luxurious, only to be wasted on those beasts, along with her dignity.

Just as Yvonne was about to get out of the car, a video call came through on her phone. It was Oscar.

They only communicated through video calls and text messages in private, as these could not be monitored.

“Oscar.” Yvonne forced a smile as she faced the screen.

“Ms. Smith… Are you going to...” Oscar’s voice choked up when he saw her striking appearance. Being from the headquarters himself, he knew all too well what it meant when Yvonne was dressed like this.

“Why did you call? Is everything okay on your end?” Yvonne quickly changed the subject.

“I’m fine. But, Ms. Smith, the two people you are meeting tonight are not ordinary people!” Oscar’s expression turned serious. “According to my investigations, these two are likely connected to the batch of products that Aaron bought! Getting close to them might give us more clues about those products. If we can get hold of it, we can greatly increase our chances of bringing down Christopher.“

Upon hearing this, the dark clouds over Yvonne’s heart cleared. Her dim eyes now shone with determination.

“I will do my best to extract valuable information. Oscar, thank you for telling me this!”

“Ms. Smith, please be careful!” Oscar’s voice was laced with worry, a sense of unease gnawing at him. “It’s strange that Christopher is sending you to a second location without letting Taylor accompany you. I’m afraid…”

“That won’t happen.” Yvonne’s voice was calm as she continued. “Christopher hasn’t acted against me yet, which means he still finds me useful. I know him too well. He wouldn’t discard anything or anyone until he squeezed out every bit of value. While he still sees me as necessary, he will definitely protect me.”

This time, Yvonne was not the only entertainment. Four other girls from the headquarters were also there.

In the luxurious room, two guards stood in dark corners with guns, and the girls had no choice but to serve the two portly foreigners.

Yvonne sat at the edge of the sofa. Her eyes were bloodshot as she watched the debauchery with burning anger. Her chest heaved, but she was helpless to stop it.
