The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 2159

At Yara Park, as Drew stood on his balcony, the harsh winds whipped his coat around his body. Christopher’s words in his ears were laced with mockery and amusement.

Drew’s throat constricted, making it difficult to breathe. “Christopher, are you itching to die?”

“I’ve heard that countless times over the past fifteen years. It was all just talk—no one could even lift a finger against me.” Christopher chuckled arrogantly. “Drew, will you be the first to challenge the dragon?”

“A dragon? Don’t make me laugh.” Drew scoffed. “You’re nothing more than a hyena, scavenging for carrion in the wilderness!”

“Next Saturday, Yvonne and my secretary, Taylor, will be having a grand wedding in Sentania. I thought, since she’s the woman that you love so deeply, wouldn’t it be a lifelong regret if you didn’t attend her wedding? Even if it was to another man?”

All his instincts flared up, and Drew felt a chill run down his spine as he listened to Christopher.

“Christopher... If you dare lay a finger on Yvonne, I will hunt you down to the ends of the earth—even to hell itself. I won’t rest until you’re dead!”

“On their wedding day, I will be presenting the newlyweds a grand gift.” Christopher continued. He gave a crazed laugh, sounding manic. “I hope you’ll come to Sentania to witness it with me. Otherwise, I guarantee it’ll be your greatest regret.”

“Christopher!” Drew roared, his voice filled with hate.

But the line went dead, leaving Drew with no outlet for his anger and forcing him to seethe in silence.

“Yvonne, wait for me. Even if it costs me my life, I will save you!” Drew drew in a sharp breath.

As he turned to go back inside, he froze in his tracks.

“Dad...?”

Even with all his training, Drew had not even noticed when his father had entered because he was so consumed by his confrontation with Christopher.

“Drew, were you just on the phone with that bastard from the Iverson family?” Wyatt looked at his son with deep concern. “Why did he call you? What does he want?”

“Nothing. It’s nothing,” Drew stuttered, his face drained of color.

Over the years of living abroad, Drew had grown accustomed to being alone. His work made it impossible to form close friendships with or confide in anyone. He had always kept his distance from his father, so it was instinctive for him to hide the truth.
