“Bella, you’re so disobedient. But I would expect nothing less from you.” Christopher’s eyes narrowed as he took a sip himself, then he suddenly gripped her chin tightly, forcing her mouth open.

The man’s cool lips pressed down on hers, sucking and probing, slowly passing the water into her mouth. Then he lingered, unwilling to pull away, savoring the sweetness of her lips. He felt heady and intoxicated.

Bella burned with rage, her fists clenched tightly as her body trembled uncontrollably in his arms. She wanted nothing more than to bite down hard on the tongue that was tormenting her. Anticipating this, Christopher held her jaw so firmly that she was unable to close her mouth, leaving her powerless to his whims.

“Then you should eat well and regain your strength. Otherwise, how will you achieve your goal?” Christopher’s lips curled up as he reached for the bowl of soup. “Eat up! Fill yourself up, and then come kill me. But if you fail, you’ll have no choice but to marry me.”
