After breakfast, Drew packed his belongings in the morning and left Yara Park.

Throughout the day, Yvonne kept herself busy around the Thompson household, lending a hand wherever needed. She helped Mila organize Larson Biotech’s project materials, whipped up some soup with Celeste, and tended to the horses together with Sasha.

Yvonne even assisted Amelia, who was close to her due date, with her shower.

She was always diligent, but today, her focus seemed even more intense. She wanted to keep herself busy, all the while anticipating the arrival of night.

After the Thompson family dinner, they gathered in the living room, chatting and laughing in a warm, harmonious atmosphere.

Yvonne sat there quietly and patiently, waiting until everyone had retired to their rooms. Only then did she get up to assist the maids in clearing the fruit peels and shells from the coffee table.

Yvonne froze. She turned toward the voice and saw Wyatt, who was being supported by Quentin, standing a few steps away looking at her.

“C-Chairman Thompson,” Yvonne stammered, feeling tense as she straightened up.

Up until now, Wyatt had always addressed her politely as “Ms. Smith.”

He knew about her relationship with his son but never openly objected or supported it. It was always subtle, distant, and understated.

But this was the first time Wyatt called her “Yvonne,” just like he addressed the other children in the family.

“We’ve known each other for so long. So why the formality?” Wyatt said warmly. “Don’t call me Chairman Thompson anymore. What do young people say these days?”
