"Paityn..." Ranita was about to say something when an unwelcome voice interrupted her - someone whom Ranita least wanted to see.
"Ranita and Paityn, what are you two talking about?" Shannon came hand in hand with Holly who seemed happy after seeing Ranita being harassed by others. Holly had an adorable smile on her face, "Paityn, long time no see! I'm curious about what you're talking about with Ranita. Can you tell us?"
Paityn bluntly replied, "We're discussing this blue velvet dress."
"I was just thinking of sending Miss Bowman a new dress so that she won't be without formal attire."
Holly giggled while covering her mouth, "You're right Paityn! Ranita, if you don't have anything decent enough then I can also send one over but wearing fake clothing like this is really shameless!"
Her words were full of disdain.
"Holly please don't say things like that... I think Ranita probably didn't mean it! After all these types of clothes are rare and not everyone knows how distinguish them from fakes. She must've been fooled by someone." Shannon spoke softly but sounded more like mocking than defending Ranita's lack of fashion sense.
"Ranita, you've been working with Brendon for years, and even if you don't want to take credit, you deserve it. If we're going to give a gift dress, it should definitely be from me. Don't bother Paityn!" Shannon paused and pulled out her phone.
"Actually, I have a brand new dress in the trunk of my car that was sent to me as a gift. I'll have Cindy bring it up for you to wear instead."
If Ranita actually changed into the new dress, wouldn't that mean she acknowledged that her blue velvet skirt was fake?
Paityn chimed in with excitement, "Miss Bowman, you're so lucky! Thank Miss Murphy for being so kind!"
"Miss Murphy is truly beautiful and kind-hearted! I really like her!"
