The sun became warmer as time passed by.
Ranita took another nap until she woke up past eleven o'clock.
Dylan suddenly needed to go back Kurima for something important so he left behind a note, asking her take two more days off while he would take care of everything else about Eve.
While pouring herself some water, Ranita called Dylan immediately afterwards.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Her voice sounded nasal due having just woken up; soft yet groggy at the same time...
Dylan chuckled over phone before answering, "You haven't been resting well lately so when I saw how soundly you slept this morning, I decided not wake you up."
After pausing briefly, Dylan continued speaking again, "Moon Mountain has great scenery plus staying here is comfortable too – relax yourself properly, okay? But don't forget about answering your phone though - both Eve and myself will worry otherwise."
Ranite fell silent for awhile before replying with an "okay" followed by an apology saying, "I won't forget next time."
Ranita had not been in a good mood the previous day, which had led to her impulsive decision to leave. It had even caused Dylan to come looking for her late at night. Adults shouldn't act so recklessly.
"I didn't mean to blame you. Rest up and wait for me to finish my work, and I'll come to meet you right away," Dylan said.
Ranita chuckled softly. If Dylan knew that Brendon was also at Moonlight Mountain, he probably wouldn't have spoken so calmly.
There was a restaurant in the resort. Ranita chose a seat by the window, and just as she took a few bites of her meal, someone sat down across from her.
"Have you ordered yet?" Brendon inquired.
"Today is a workday, Mr. Stuart, aren't you supposed to be busy?" Ranita replied, her voice icy.
Brendon handed her a glass of water. "Still angry?"
Ranita's hand paused, and she looked at Brendon with a subtle expression. "What's there to be angry about?"
