Ranita immediately had the hotel arrange another room for herself. After all, Shannon was here and she didn't want to be kicked out. As Ranita was packing up her things, she suddenly felt deflated and sat down on the couch like a balloon losing air.
What was she even packing for?
She was Brendon's wife, so why did she have to be so kind as to give up her room for Shannon?
A rebellious thought crossed Ranita's mind - maybe she should just take back her offer of divorce and let Shannon suffer!
Suddenly, there was a beep from the door as it unlocked with a card swipe.
Was that Brendon coming back already?
Ranita turned around but saw someone else instead - someone she didn't want to see!
Shannon sweetly called out to her, "Ranita... Brendon personally went out to buy me coffee. He gave me his room key so I could rest. I hope I'm not bothering you."
It was like nothing had happened earlier.
Ranita couldn't help but admire how thick-skinned Shannon really was - thicker than walls!
"I said you were bothering me. Will you leave now?"
"Ranita..." Shannon immediately looked wronged and accused, "Why do you have to say that? It's Brendon who asked me here."
How pitiful! How wronged!
Ranita really wanted to slap her across the face or else this anger would never go away.
"Brendon is good to me because he has deep feelings for me. Can't you understand that?" pleaded Shannon.
